Philip Longenecker Bachman, 79, of Fairfax, Va., passed away Sunday, January 4, 2009, in Inova Fairfax Hospital. He was born in Lancaster and grew up in Washington, having graduated from Washington & Jefferson College in 1951. He had resided in Fairfax County since the late 1950s.
